The ego thrives on the illusion of “arrival”—convincing you that peace is a future event dependent on a specific outcome. Because the mind’s very nature is to fluctuate, chasing external circumstances to satisfy it is like throwing dry wood onto a fire, hoping to put it out.

Declare a temporary “ceasefire” with your goals and intentionally practice being completely content with the raw, simple reality of your life exactly as it stands right this second.
