This line comes from Kabir’s most famous, signature song. Sitting at his loom, he would watch individual, raw threads of different colors—some bright and joyful, others dark and coarse—interlock under his fingers to form a single, magnificent, seamless shawl (chadar). Kabir realized that the cosmic weaver handles our lives in the exact same manner. The dark threads of our sorrows and the bright threads of our joys are not random mistakes; they are intentionally crossed to create a balanced, beautiful human experience.
